Can I buy my tickets at the door?

We encourage everyone to use our online ticketing portal to get tickets early. We are expecting this event to sell out fast, so there is no guarantee that ticket sales at the door will be available.

Do I need to know how to dance?

No. You do not need to know how to dance in order to attend. We have multiple workshops and bootcamps for individual dancers ranging from newbie to advanced.

Do I need a partner?

No. You do not need a partner. Everyone rotates in all workshops and during social dancing.

Where do I park?

There is limited free street parking available. The hotel has valet parking at a daily rate of $27. There's a public parking garage connected to the hotel, owned by the city of Richmond at a rate of $17 daily. Additionally, there are various pay-to-park lots and garages within a short walk of the hotel. For more info visit

Is this an event for all ages?

Yes. This event is designed for individuals of all age groups.

What type of clothing do I wear to this event?

You may wear what ever type of clothing you wish to wear that is in good taste, and does not present vulgar/obscene images or messages of hate and discrimination. You may dress in your finest attire or dress comfortable in your everyday clothing. Bootcamp/Workshops: we recommend that all bootcamp/workshop participants wear comfortable, flexible or loose fitting clothing. i.e shorts, gym shorts, tights, spandex, sweat/jogging pants, t-shirts, ect...

Where can I eat and drink?

T. Millers is an onsite restaurant of the hotel. Also, there are many other restaurants within walking distance. For more information regarding local restaurants, feel free to see a list on our website under Hotel tab

What type of shoes do I need to dance in?

If you do not have dance shoes, that is ok. Wear a shoe that is comfortable and has good support. There will be vendors onsite at the event that will have various styles of dance shoes available for both men and women to purchase. If you would like more information on or need help finding and purchasing dance shoes prior to the event; please consult with your locally qualified dance instructors for assistance.
